The MPV comes with a list of premium features such as an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 3.5-inch multi-info display, LED cabin lights, dual-panel power sunroof, electric tailgate and more.

Under the bonnet, the Kia Carnival derives the power from a BS6-spec 2.2-litre diesel engine that is tuned to develop 200 PS of power and 440 Nm of peak torque. The transmission choice is an 8-speed automatic unit.

In another update, Kia is preparing for the launch of new Sonet on this September 18. Unlike the Carnival, the Kia Sonet will join the crowded and contested sub-4m SUV segments with the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and many others.
