To preserve the upmarket ambience of the bigger Seltos in the Sonet, Kia has used similar parts and design traits from the former. The Sonet gets the same steering wheel and infotainment screen as the Seltos, and so is the case with the unibody housing for instrument console and infotainment screen. The 10.25-inch infotainment screen will make the Sonet get the biggest touchscreen display in its segment.

Sadly, the Sonet misses out on the 7.0-inch TFT LCD for the MID. It gets a smaller multi-colour display along with digital speedo readout. Also, a lot of buttons are borrowed from the Seltos. Talking of the AC vents, they boast of a rectangular design and are vertically stacked. Coming over to the centre console, it gets an upright design. It houses the controls for the climate control unit, hazard lamps and more.
