Mahindra Logistics Provides E-Verito Sedans for Employees to Commute in Kerala

Electric vehicles, to be more specific, E-Verito Sedans have been supplied for employees’ transportation in Kerala by Mahindra Logistics (MLL).

E-Verito Sedans are manufactured by Mahindra Electric Mobility Ltd. and are also deployed in the fleet segmentation. This is the first time that EVs are introduced in Kerala state for employees to commute. EVs have also been introduced to MLL’s clients in such cities as Delhi and Bengaluru. 150 vehicles are also being planned to be used in the company’s People Transportation Solutions (PTS) throughout the next year.

Mahesh Babu, CEO Mahindra Electric commented that Mahindra Electric has laid the groundwork for the shift to electric vehicles for almost 10 years. He considered Kerala a potential market for personal segment since 2016. He also expressed the pleasure when E-Verito Sedans had been launched to serve in the fleet segment. He believed that the participation of Verito Sedans in the fleet segmentation will motivate the thorough shift to EVs of India. And the decision to supply the vehicles to employees for transportation represents a significant landmark, contributing to the state’s objective of sustainable development. The e-Verito can accommodate 5 people and can travel up to 110km in one full charge. The electric vehicle gets the power from 72V 3-phase AC Induction Motor, which can deliver up to 41bhp and 91Nm at 3000rpm. The sedan has a 510-litre boot capacity and can speed up to 86kmph.
