BSVI Compliant Maruti Alto Offers Rs 60,000 Discounts This October

Maruti Suzuki is offering attractive discounts on its cars, including the new BSVI-ready Alto during this festive season.

As the 2019 festive season kicks in, Maruti Suzuki also kicks off its offering scheme across its product lineup, including the Rs 60,000 discounts offered on the BSVI version of the Alto. Prices of the car now has been decreased to Rs 2.22 Lakh which includes Rs 40,000 cash discount, Rs 5,000 corporate bonus and Rs 20,000 exchange bonus. The Maruti Alto K10 is also available with the same discount.

Maruti Suzuki kicks off its attractive offering scheme on its models, including the 2019 Maruti Alto.

Maruti Suzuki launched the new Alto on April 26 with an upgraded engine and a segment-first passenger airbag option. Powering the new Alto is a BSVI-ready 796 cc three-cylinder petrol engine that belts out 48 BHP and 69 Nm of torque. In the BSVI guise, the claimed fuel efficiency of the engine goes down from 24.7 kmpl to 22.05 kmpl.

The 2019 Maruti Alto comes with Maruti Smart Play Dock with Bluetooth connectivity which transforms your smartphone into a touch interface to pick calls, navigation and music among others. Keyless entry is part of the update too. Standard safety bits on the model include driver airbag, reverse parking sensor, speed alert, driver and co-driver seatbelt reminder, ABS, EBD and more.

The Maruti Alto is available with a BSVI engine option and segment-leading passenger airbag fitment.

Apart from the new Alto, Maruti Suzuki also announced huge offers of up ro Rs 1.12 Lakh on its entire range of models. The Vitara Brezza is currently being offered with a total benefit of Rs 97,000. The Maruti Dzire can be had with discounts mount up to Rs 78,000 while the petrol-powered Maruti Swift offers its customers with the cash discount of Rs 30,000. On the other hand, the Maruti WagonR is being offered at Rs 25,000 worth benefits. As the Government has just announced 10% corporate tax reduction, Maruti Suzuki also cuts the price of its cars by Rs 5,000.

Before the arrival of the entry-level hatchback, the S-Presso, Maruti Suzuki revealed that around 70 per cent sales of its petrol-powered vehicles are BSVI ready and the company has already sold more than 2 lakh units of BSVI cars across India. The BSVI-compliant products lineup comprises of the Maruti Alto, Maruti WagonR (1.2-litre), Maruti Swift, Baleno, Ertiga, Dzire and the newly-launched XL6.
