MG Gloster Savvy 7-Seater Launched, Costs Same as 6-Seater Variant

MG Motor India has launched the MG Gloster Savvy 7-seater in the Indian market. The new model has been introduced after receiving several requests from customers for the same. The 7-seater variant of the Gloster Savvy trim costs the same as the 6-seater model - Rs 37.28 lakh (ex-showroom).

As the name suggests, the MG Gloster Savvy 7-seater is basically a 7-seater version of the Gloster Savvy trim which was previously available in only a 6-seater avatar. This means that the new model features a bench-type seat in the mid-row instead of captain seats. No other change has been incorporated.

Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer, MG Motor India, said:

We are introducing the Gloster Savvy with a 7-seater configuration in response to requests from our customers. With this addition to the existing Gloster Savvy with a 6-seater configuration, we are offering our customers the power to choose a vehicle as per their needs and preferences.

The MG Gloster is MG Motor India’s flagship product and the Savvy trim sits right at the top of the SUV’s variant list. The Gloster Savvy uses a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine that pumps out 215 HP of max power and 480 Nm of peak torque. MG Motor India is offering an 8-speed automatic transmission here. Other features include 7 driving modes, 64-colour ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, 12.3-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, and many more.
