New 2021 Audi Q5 Facelift To Launch Soon

Audi is all set to launch the new Q5 facelift in our market. It will get propelled by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol mill.

The German automaker Audi is working on the facelifted version of the Q5 for our market. Audi Q5 is among the most successful and top-selling SUVs offered by the carmaker in India. The new facelift version of the SUV was first introduced back in June 2020 and is likely to hit our shores in the coming months. A prototype version of the SUV has also been recently spied while getting tested. It was fitted with portable emission measurement system. The upcoming model of the SUV will get some cosmetic and feature updates on outside and inside. The biggest design change can be seen on the front fascia of the SUV. Upfront, the SUV now gets a new chrome-finished octagonal single-frame grille, LED headlights, revised front bumper and a new set of fog lamps.

At the back, it features dual-exhaust tips, revised LED taillights and so on. The cabin of the new Audi Q5 is also expected to employ subtle tweaks. It is likely to get an all-new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with updated MIB 3 system and connected car features, keyless entry, virtual cockpit, traction control, ambient lighting, ESP, 3-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls, multiple airbags, fully-digital instrument console, heated seats and much more. Mechanically, it will get propelled by a 2.0-litre turbocharged gasoline mill, which is capable of shredding out 248bhp of peak power and 370 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties will be done by a 7-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch gearbox, which will send power to all-four-wheels.

In the foreign market, the Audi Q5 facelift is offered with a diesel power plant. Recently, the carmaker has introduced A4 facelift in our market. In its segment, it rivals with the likes of Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series, Jaguar XE, and upcoming Volvo S60. It is offered in two different trim levels namely- Premium Plus and Technology. The 2021 Audi A4 is retailed at a starting price of Rs 42.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Premium Plus variant and goes all the way up to Rs 46.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec variant.
