Next-gen Hyundai Tucson Spotted On Road With New Styling Updates

After making a debut at the 2020 Auto Expo, the facelifted Hyundai Tucson entered the market in India a few weeks ago. In the meanwhile, the South Korean car manufacturer is working on the new-gen model of the mid-size SUV. Currently, there are several images circulating around the internet of the Hyundai Tucson that were snapped during its road test. These images are clear enough to shed details of the new design of the Hyundai Tucson.

In the latest set of spy images, the Hyundai Tucson is seen with a host of new updates for the exterior and interior. More than a regular upgrade, the new-gem Hyundai Tucson showcases a shift in the design language. What we see in the new Hyundai Tucson will reflect the styling of Hyundai’s future cars.

On the front end, the test mules of new-gen Hyundai Tucson can be seen with a redesigned front grille flanked by the LED DRLs on the two ends. There are also new LED headlights and upright windshield for the front design. On the side profile, the new SUV features diamond-cut alloy wheels, roof rails and a sloping roofline. The new-gen upgrade will comprehensively change not only the front end but also the rear fascia of the Tucson. Coming to the rear end, the prototype of the new-gen Tucson can be seen with a new rear spoiler, revised bumper, and resculpted tailgate.

The cosmetic updates will be available not only for the exterior but also for the interior. In congruence to the current interior design trend, there will be a significant reduction of physical buttons. Instead, the interior of the Hyundai Tucson will emphasize the use of the touchscreens and displays. The car users will perform most tasks on the large touchscreen which offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support along with the BlueLink connected car tech. The new-gen Tucson will is expected to get a fully-digital instrument cluster.

The new-gen Hyundai Tucson is due to go on sale later this year in the international market. Since the Indian market just received the facelift version of the SUV, it will be another one or two years until the new-gen Hyundai Tucson finally arrives in the Indian market.
