Tata Altroz Turbo Prices and Variant Line-up Leaked!

Here’s a recently leaked document of the upcoming Tata Altroz Turbo, which reveals the trims and prices of the car.

Tata Motors introduced its first-ever premium hatchback in our marker early this year named as Altroz. It rivals with the likes of Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20 and Honda Jazz. The car is doing quite well in terms of overall sales. The hatchback is getting popular among the buyers because of its smart looks, spacious cabin, good ride and handling balance. Moreover, Tata Altroz has scored a 5-star rating at the Global NCAP Crash Test. As per recent reports, soon the automaker will introduce the new turbo petrol trim of the car, which will make Tata Altroz a more exciting package.

Here’s a recently leaked document, which reveals the prices and trims line-up of the upcoming Altroz Turbo. It’ll be offered in four different trim levels. The hatchback will be priced between Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom). This is not the confirmed price of the car because the leaked price list is a dealership level document. The confirmed price of the car will be revealed soon by the carmaker. The upcoming Tata Altroz Turbo will be powered by a 1.2-litre three-pot, turbocharged gasoline engine, which develops 108bhp of power and 140 Nm of peak torque. The new power plant will come mated to a DCT gearbox. The same 1.2-litre engine does duties in Tata Nexon and is tuned to develop power and torque outputs of 118bhp and 170 Nm.

The ongoing model of Tata Altroz is powered by a 1.2 NA petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former puts out 85bhp and 113 Nm of torque, while the latter produces 89bhp of peak power and 200 Nm of twisting force. Both the engine comes mated to a 5-speed MT. It is offered at a starting price of Rs 5.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the entry-level petrol trim and goes all the way up to Rs 9.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec diesel model. The new Tata Altroz Turbo is likely to hit the Indian shores by the upcoming festive season.
