Tata Nexon EV To Be​​​​​​​ Launched On January 28

Tata Nexon EV is confirmed to be launched on January 28. The electronic version of the Nexon gets 312 km range per charge.

At the beginning of 2020, Tata Motors will set off with the launch of the Tata Altroz which is due to launch on January 22. Following the launch of the Tata Nexon, the Tata Nexon EV will also make its debut in the market. The official launch date is confirmed to occur on January 28, only 6 days apart from the Altroz’s launch.

Tata Nexon EV is based on the facelift version of the Tata Nexon which is not yet introduced. The upcoming facelift Tata Nexon was spotted on some occasions. Recently, the car was seen during the shooting for its commercial ads.

The dimensions of the new Tata Nexon EV are similar to the regular Nexon. It will measure 3,995 mm in length, 1,811 mm in width and 1,607 mm height. There are no changes in the wheelbase and the ground clearance either. It will come with the same wheelbase of 2,498 mm and a ground clearance of 205 mm.

Tata Nexon EV will be available in three trims, XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux

About the Tata Nexon EV, the car will come in three variants, XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. Under the hood, the Tata Nexon EV will make use of a 30.2 kWh battery pack. The electric motor is capable of unleashing a top power of 129 PS and 254 Nm of peak torque. It takes 9.9 seconds for the car to run from idle to 100 kmph and 4.6 seconds to do the 60 kmph sprint. Tata Nexon’s range is confirmed to rate at 312 km.

On the standard variant, Tata offers features like automatic climate control, keyless entry, push-button start, and two drive mode including Drive and Sport. On the next trim, the XZ+, the electric vehicle features dual-tone exterior colour options, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, rear camera, leather-covered steering wheel and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
