This Mahindra Scorpio Limo is 15 Feet Longer than Mercedes S-Class

Mahindra Scorpio is the quintessential SUV of India, the first car that pops into our minds when we think the word SUV. It is one of the most popular SUVs of all time in our country, soldering strong since its introduction in 2002. Of course, people love to customise their cars, and thus we’ve seen a lot of modified examples of Mahindra Scorpio in the past. This particular one, however, catches our attention and retains it for ‘long’ time.

The video above has been posted on YouTube channel ‘Magneto11’, but the video originally belongs to ‘Luxury Limo Land’, a luxury car rental company based in Jalandhar, Punjab. The modified Scorpio is instantly recognisable from stock, owing to its massive length, 32 feet! In comparison, the Mercedes S-Class (long-wheelbase edition) available in India is a little more than 17 feet long!

This modified Mahindra Scorpio is a 32-feet long luxury limousine

The additional length has been added to the centre of the car. Other than that, the car still maintains the look of the stock vehicle. It retains all its original elements, like doors, front-grill, headlight, and taillights, and tail-hatch. The wheels are 17-inches and bulge out of the wheel arches owing to their massive width.

The interior of the car feels like a disco pub

The bulk of the modification has been done on the inside. The car features an integrated bar table, custom carpeted floor, custom interior padding, large windows with curtains, and sofa seats. For entertainment, there is a massive 32-inch LCD television with DVD player installed. The car also features ambient lighting, along with a light-strobe that gives disco-light effects. Overall, it feels like a nightclub inside, rather than a car! The first row seats are isolated from the rear passenger cabin, which is quite a recurring design element in such interior mod-jobs. The driver gets an intercom system for communication with the passengers and a constant camera-feed for the inside rear-view mirror (IRVM).

It must be noted that any customisation that alters the chassis of the car is illegal, and in a majority of cases, dangerous as well. As the entire load of the car is borne on the chassis, any imperfections in its structure can cause the vehicle to break into pieces, thus endangering the occupants as well as other road users.
