Toyota Yaris Is Being Offered With Discount Of Up To INR 1.34 Lakh

Toyota introduced the Yaris last year at an aggressive price with high expectations in terms of the sales number for the model. However, to the Japanese auto manufacturer’s disappointment, only 350 units of the Toyota Yaris were sold in January, making it the model which has the lowest sales number in its segment. As a method to boost its performance, Toyota is offering a maximum discount of INR 1.34 lakh on the Yaris.

The Yaris is available in four variants – J, G, V and VX. The V variant is available with an INR 84,000 as the cash discount, INR 20,000 as the exchange bonus and INR 30,000 as the corporate discount, which amounts to the total benefits of INR 1.34 lakh, which is the highest in the lineup. If you buy a J CVT, you will be entitled to a total discount of INR 82,000 INR, which includes an INR 42,000 cash discount, an INR 20,000 exchange bonus and an INR 20,000 corporate discount.

The entry-level J variant with an MT gearbox has total discounts of INR 65,000 which consists of an INR 25,000 cash discount, an INR 20,000 exchange bonus and INR 20,000 corporate discount. This discount offer is, at present, applied to 2018 MY of Yaris since so many units are still left unsold in various dealers.

The Toyota Yaris is being offered with the discounts of up to INR 1.43 lakh 

The Yaris is 4,435 mm long; 1,730 mm wide and 1,475 mm high with a 2,560 wheelbase. The vehicle has a clean and neat appearance with such outstanding features as a slim headlight, a charming bumper and 15-inch alloy wheels.

In terms of the interior, it gets a wide range of convenience features which include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit connected to 6-speakers, 8-way adjustable driving seat, leather seats, etc. The Yaris can also ensure the customers a safe drive with an impressive list of safety features consisting of 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill Hold Control (HHC), Tyre-Pressure Monitoring System, front disks and rear drum brakes, automatic door lock and unlock, front and rear fog lamps and rear parking sensors.

Under the hood of the Toyota Yaris is a 1.5L Dual VVT-I motor, which can deliver a maximum power of 109 PS and a peak torque of 140 Nm. The transmission duties on the sedan are undertaken by a 6-speed MT gearbox and CVT unit.
