Honda CR-V-rivalling Nissan X-Trail Leaked

The details of the new 2021 Nissan X-Trail were recently leaked well before the vehicle's official launch. The Nissan X-Trail is expected to enter the Indian market in the future and will fare against the likes of Honda CR-V and VW Tiguan All-space.

The revised exterior of the Nissan X-trail looks more rugged and a muscular than before

As per the leaked images, the new Nissan X-trail carries forward similar proportions as the previous version. But, still, necessary exterior updates have made the X-Trail deliver a refreshed styling that looks more aggressive and beefy. On the front end, the new SUV comes with the familiar V-shaped grille which is one key feature of the Nissan V-Motion 2.0 design concept. The same design styling is adopted by other Nissan models like the Juke, Livina and Sylphy. The front-end sports the split headlight setup that is currently in fashion in the SUV segment. The new bumper is revised to look more muscular and dominant with a larger skid plate. It appears that the new Nissan X-Trail also adopts new side air inlets. The rear design remains identical to the previous version.

Coming to the cabin of the new Nissan X-Trail, upgrades for the interior are even more comprehensive than the exterior. It keeps a similar steering which is also the only trace of the previous design on the new cabin. The rest is redesigned to a great extend, thereby adding premium sense to the interior space. Nissan X-Trail gets an upmarket dashboard, new floating touchscreen infotainment system and virtual instrument cluster. In addition, it also comes with revised aircon controls, smaller gear stick and full-length floor console. These features have upgraded the premiumness of the interior to a new level.

2021 Nissan X-Trail’s interior is thoroughly updated

It is likely that the Nissan X-Trail will make its debut in the US market under the name Nissan Rogue in a few months. For the Indian market, considering the exceptional growth of the SUV segment, it is expected that Nissan will introduce the fourth-gen X-Trail in our market. However, it is unlikely to happen anytime soon.
