Planning to make your base-spec new-gen Hyundai Creta look like the top-spec one? Here's a video that shows all the OEM accessories you would need.
New-gen Hyundai Creta is one of the best-selling SUVs in the Indian market. Soon after the launch, it managed to grab the top spot in the monthly sales tally for May 2020. It was launched at a starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh, however, the carmaker has now revised the lineup to reduce the entry point to Rs. 9.82 lakh. The base-spec Hyundai Creta misses out on a lot of features in comparison to its top-spec counterpart. But, you can attempt to make it look like the top-end trim with the help of OEM accessories. Here’s a video that we came across on the YouTube channel of Ujjawal Saxena that showcases the accessories while also revealing their prices.
The host starts the video with the chrome surrounds for the headlamps, which are priced at Rs. 799 only, followed by the front fog lamps that Hyundai retails for Rs 2,500. Next, the host shows the alloy wheels, which are available for Rs. 38,000. The base-spec Creta misses out on the roof rails as well, which one can get from a Hyundai dealership for Rs. 7,500. Similarly, the entry-level trim of the Creta fails to come with an infotainment unit and a parcel shelf, which can be installed for Rs. 33,500 and Rs. 2,000, respectively.
Also, Hyundai offers chrome garnishing for a lot of parts of the new-gen Creta, such as front fog lamps, ORVMs, tailgate, taillamps and more. Moreover, for the increased convenience in ingress and egress, Hyundai is offering side steps for the Creta at Rs. 13,999. The list also includes door visors, which are priced at Rs. 1,199, while the seat covers are priced at Rs. 6,500. Lastly, the body cover for the 2020 Hyundai Creta can be bought for Rs. 1,550.
Hyundai Creta is currently on sale with three engine options – 1.5L petrol, 1.4L turbo-petrol, and 1.5L diesel. The transmission options include a 6-speed MT, 6-speed AT, CVT, and 7-speed DCT. The prices for the Creta start at Rs. 9.82 lakh and go up to Rs. 17.32 lakh. It rivals with the likes of Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks and more.
