The next-gen 2020 Hyundai Creta will be launched in India on March 17th. Check out how the car fares against the current best-seller SUV in India, the Kia Seltos.

Hyundai Creta was the best-selling SUV in India up till the advent of the Kia Seltos, which took the market by storm. Within just two months after its launch, the Seltos had managed to dethrone the Creta, followed by the MG Hector. Determined to snatch the first spot once again, Hyundai will be introducing the next-gen Creta in India soon. Although it will share its platform and powertrains with the Seltos, there will be plenty of differences between the two cars.

On the Creta, you can see the latest design trend of offering vertically-split headlamps. The taillamps mirror the theme, being almost is almost the same manner. The side profile is in contrast with the front and rear, being a little conservative in comparison.

As for the Seltos, it has a set of conventionally-designed headlamps, but they look extremely aggressive and sporty. The signature tiger-nose grille adds to the character. The side profile continues the dynamic theme, same as the rear. Sadly, the design isn’t as fresh as the Creta, which looks unlike anything else we’ve seen in the market.

The steering wheel is a three-spoke sporty unit, leather-wrapped as well. Both cars will feature steering-mounted controls for audio and cruise control.

The Creta will also feature the company’s lastest ‘BlueLink’ connected car tech, whereas the Seltos comes with an older generation of the same system. The Hyundai SUV will also offer voice-activated sunroof, e-parking brake, and paddle-shifters.
