Here are a few images of MG Hector Plus, which employs aftermarket 18-inch alloy wheels and looks scintillating.
MG launched its first-ever SUV in our market named as Hector last year, and it got quite popular among the buyers in the country. A few months back, the carmaker introduced the new 6-seater model of the SUV named as Hector Plus, which is big enough to accommodate 6-passengers at once. The stock model of MG Hector Plus looks quite stylish, but look are subjective that’s why a few enthusiasts around the country have modified it to make it look more appealing. Here’s one such modified MG Hector Plus, which employs aftermarket rims.
The stock model of the SUV gets smart-looking two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels. The MG Hector Plus you see here gets 18-inch multi-spoke black and silver coloured alloy wheels. These dual-tone alloy wheels gel up well with the all-black colour shade of the SUV. These mags have enhanced the elegant look of the car. The aftermarket rims are of Victor brand, and the customization job has been done by KB Tyres, Ludhiana. The overall cost of this modification is not known, but one can directly contact the modifier to known more. Talking about MG Hector Plus, the SUV looks almost identical to that of the regular Hector. But, there are subtle cosmetic changes between both the SUVs.
It derives power from a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit that produces 143 PS of power, and a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel mill, which puts out 170 PS of peak power. The SUV is also propelled by a 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid motor. All the three powertrain options come paired with a 6-speed MT as standard, and an optional DCT is also offered but only with the turbo-petrol mill. It is also slightly bigger in dimensions as compared to the MG Hector. The price of the MG Hector Plus starts at Rs 13.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and goes all the way up to Rs 18.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). As compared to the 5-seater Hector, the all-new MG Hector Plus is almost Rs 65,000 costlier.
