In a bit to revive its sales performance, Maruti Suzuki is providing generous discounts of up to INR 40,000 on its Nexa models: Maruti Baleno, Ignis, XL6 and Ciaz.
Generous discounts are being offered on all of the Maruti models which are retailed through its premium Nexa dealerships. The product range includes top-sellers like Maruti Baleno, Ignis, XL6 and Ciaz. The discounts include a standard INR 5,000 special ISL offer to the front-line workers against COVID-19, but the exchange offers and consumer offers vary, depending on the models and variants.
The Maruti Baleno is being offered with generous discounts across its variants.
For example, The entry-level Baleno Sigma which is priced at INR 5.63 lakh (ex-showroom) is available with a discount of INR 15,000 and an exchange offer discount of INR 15,000. Other Maruti Baleno variants, Alpha, Zeta and Delta, are being offered with a cash discount of INR 15,000 and an exchange discount of INR 15,000. The Zeta variant of the Ignis is currently available with an INR 10,000 discount and an INR 15,000 exchange bonus. Meanwhile, all the other variants come with a discount of INR 20,000 with the same exchange offer. This means that the total discounts for the Ignis Zeta and other variants are INR 30,000 and INR 40,000, respectively.
The XL6 is offered not being offered with cash discounts but comes with an exchange bonus of INR 20,000 and the special ISL offer, which amounts to the total benefits of INR 25,000. The Ciaz’s top-spec MT Alpha variant is available with an INR 20,000 exchange bonus whereas all other variants get an additional consumer discount of INR 10,000.
The Maruti Ciaz is also offered with discounts, depending on its variants.
Besides the discount, the largest automaker in India has also introduced a new ‘Subscribe’ program with which cars can be delivered to customers’ garages on lease for the purpose of boosting sales after the recent economic slump. This scheme allows the customers in Gurgaon and Bangalore to lease their cars for a period of 24, 36 or 48 months. The tenure can be decided by the customers; and the users only have to pay the pre-determined monthly amount with no extra down payment or service/maintenance cost. Besides, the customers are also eligible for around-the-clock roadside support for no extra cost.
