Besides the Endeavour and Fortuner, several other SUVs such as a Maruti Gypsy, Isuzu D-Max V-Cross and Renault Duster also try to overcome the challenges. As expected, despite some difficulties, the Endeavour and Fortuner easily overcome most of the challenges. The D-Max V-Cross have difficulty at some points due to low ground clearance and long wheelbase, but still shows great capabilities for the most parts. The two smaller cars, Renault Duster AWD and Maruti Gypsy try to overcome the obstacle at their own pace; nevertheless, they need to try several times in most of the challenges.

The Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and Isuzu D-Max V-Cross come with a 4WD system with a low range transfer case and locking differential. Moreover, the Endeavour and Fortuner also get active traction control, which helps them handle well on muddy roads. All of these help them succeeding in overcoming the off-road challenges. In the meanwhile, Gypsy and Duster get minimal electronic. Disappointingly, both of them are not on sale in the Indian auto market any more but used units are always available in the used car market for you to choose from.
