GMC Hummer EV Pickup Pops Wheelie When Launched Hard

Upcoming Hummer EV has been recently snapped of almost popping up a wheeling. The GMC Hummer EV is likely to launch in foreign markets in the coming months. 

GMC is all set to launch its upcoming Hummer EV pickup in the international markets. Recent shots captured at GM’s Milford Proving Grounds in Michigan demonstrates the enormous power of the upcoming electric pickup. In the shots, one can see that the electric SUV almost pops up the wheelie when the driver stomps on the accelerator pedal.  We expect that the driver has engaged the Watts to Freedom mode, which allows the GMC Hummer pickup EV to accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 3 seconds.

The pictures clearly show that rear-end of the electric SUV drops by a few inches, while the front-end rose to a greater extent. Cars like this, which change their position under hard acceleration have usually been customized by tuning workshops for drag races. Apart from this, these images also show the extent to which the carmaker has designed and tuned the suspension to keep all four wheels stick to the ground at any point in time. This makes the GMC Hummer EV pickup a capable off-roader as it will aspires a lot of confidence in the driver. The electric SUV comes loaded with features like carb walk mode, extreme off-road package, one-pedal driving, dynamic bump zone suspension, tyre pressure sensor software, dynamic bump zone suspension and much more.

Nevertheless, the pictures also show that the Hummer EV will easily cope up with extreme acceleration on tarmac roads. The front tyre of the SUV will carry most of the vehicle’s weight, while the rear tyres will have will carry less weight. The Edition 1 of GMC Hummer will be introduced by the end of this year. It will get propelled by a three-motor power plant, which produces a combined power output of 1000bhp and 15591 Nm of peak torque. After the launch of Hummer EV Edition 1, the carmaker will launch Hummer EV3X in 2022, Hummer EV2X in 2023 and Hummer EV2 in 2024. Every version of the electric SUV will feature 22-inch mags, supercruise semi-autonomous driver assistance system, HD surround vision, infinity roof and so on.
