Here’s First-Ever Hyundai Creta To Get Automatic Tailgate Opener

The Hyundai Creta has always been an instant hit in India from the first-gen car to the latest update. Earlier this year, Hyundai introduced the newest-gen Creta in India and irrespective of the challenges and difficulties caused by the global pandemic, the all-new Creta has written another successful chapter in the brand’s portfolio. While the older-gen Creta was undeniably sharper and sportier than the new car in terms of look, the new-gen Creta is much more premium and feature-laden then. Over the years, car modifiers have given the Hyundai Creta plenty of aftermarket accessories to add more character to the vehicle. As per the video, this customized Hyundai Creta is actually an old-gen model. The video has shown all the customization jobs done to the older-gen SUV that makes it even flashier than the latest-gen model. The major highlight in this customized Creta is the automatic tailgate opener which is not available in the stock version. In fact, this feature is often offered on premium cars and the Creta has it as an aftermarket option on tap.

By the touch on the buttons of the key fob, the tailgate of the Hyundai Creta can be opened and closed easily. Opening and closing the tailgate can be operated by using buttons on the boot of the vehicle as well.

Other mod jobs on the Hyundai Creta include new LED headlamps imported from Taiwan. It also features new LED daytime running lamps placed inside the headlamps, which acts as turn indicators in the car as well. They're also custom LED lights that come to replace the stock fog lamps. The front and rear bumpers get aftermarket skid plates.

Things remain mostly the same on the sides of the Hyundai Creta, except for the aftermarket side fender-mounted faux air vents. The ORVMs boast of matrix-style turn indicators. The clear-lens LED taillamps with matrix-styled lights are also present at the rear of the car which is further accentuated by the illuminated CRETA badge.

Inside the cabin, the customized Creta features a new touchscreen for the infotainment system that is also an aftermarket unit. The seats now receive premium ice pearl upholstery integrated with red stitching. The same shade of ice pearl can be seen on the steering, door pads and the pillars too. And certainly, the aftermarket mood lighting also spruces things up around the dashboard of the vehicle. Overall, all the mod jobs are neatly done on the Hyundai Creta that make it a lot more upmarket and premium than the stock model, both on the outside and inside.
