Here's How Kia Sonet Fares Against Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue

Here’s a detailed comparison between Tata Nexon and Kia Sonet. Watch the video embedded below to know the major differences between both the SUVs.

The Korean automaker Kia has recently launched its all-new sub-4-meter SUV in the Indian market named as Sonet. It is now the most affordable SUV in the automaker’s stable in India. It rivals with the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. Here’s a recent YouTube video, which shows a detailed comparison between Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue. This comparison has been done to see, which SUV is better in terms of driving, space, features and comfort.

This video has been uploaded by a YouTube channel named as PITSTOP. This video shows a comparison between both the  SUVs. The Tata Nexon and Kia Sonet have shown in this video are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel mill. As per this video, the Tata SUV feels a bit more matured and SUVish as compared to the Kia Sonet. Upfront, Kia Sonet employs front parking sensors, LED headlamps and projector fog lamps. On the other hand, Tata Nexon gets projector-type headlamps with LED DRLs as standard. Dimensionally, Kia Sonet is taller, but Tata Nexon is wider, which means it offers more space inside the cabin. The presenter thinks that Tata Nexon looks better than the Kia Sonet in terms of looks. Moving inside, the cabin of the Kia Sonet is definitely the winner.

It comes loaded with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, UVO connects features, ventilated seats, air purifier, electric sunroof, wireless charging and much more. On the other hand, the cabin of Tata Nexon features a simple looking dashboard, a touchscreen infotainment unit digital instrument, cluster, multi-function steering wheel, electric sunroof and rear AC vents. The cabin space of Kia Sonet feels a bit cramped. It can effortlessly accommodate four passengers at once, but it would be difficult to accommodate the fifth passenger. Tata Nexon, on the other hand, can easily accommodate 5-passengers. This happens because Kia Sonet is less wide as compared to Tata Nexon.
