The majority of most Indian auto buyers cannot afford imported cars to India due to the high tax rate. Nevertheless, many customization jobs have been done to the imported cars with a good-looking appearance but at a much lower price. Recently, modifications have been done to one Honda Civic, which has eventually become a Lamborghini Centenario supercar. While this cannot be compared with the original vehicle, the replica is sure to attract a great deal of attention on the road wherever it travels. Below is a video of a Lamborghini Centenario duplicate based on the Honda Civic, created by two Jaipur-based cousins. The modification garage is operated by Pratik and Vidhurm, who have already commenced their next project.

The Lamborghini Centenario is a very rare car. It was launched in 2016 in a restricted number to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of the company. Only 40 units of the vehicle were manufactured, 20 of which were roadsters and the rest were coupes. At that time, the mid-engine AWD car was selling like hotcakes. It was also the first model from Lamborghini to be equipped with a rear-wheel-drive system.

This Honda Civic, which is in its 10th generation (globally) and is an FWD sedan, has received comprehensive modifications to become a Lamborghini Centenario. With regards to the exterior, the Civic gets modified body panels, Centenario-like headlights and taillights. Transformed body panels have also been added to the chassis. The door design comes with replica scissor operation which is inspired by the Centenario. The vehicle now runs on 18-inch rims which are equipped with spacers. Because the Lamborghini Centenario has much greater dimensions than the Honda Civic, to copy the size of the supercar, the latter needs to have spacers installed to properly place the tyres.

As for the cabin, you can easily recognise some modifications. The most outstanding alteration must be a totally customized dashboard. Several carbon-fibre inserts have been added to the centre panel. Furthermore, there is also a tablet positioned in the centre of the console. Two custom leather bucket seats with carbon fibre finish are also equipped on the car to match the exterior paint scheme. A button has been installed to control the gearstick. Nevertheless, considering the Indian road conditions, the ground clearance of the Honda Civic has maintained unchanged. The powertrain has also been kept intact, too.

A lot of alterations have also been done to the interior of the Honda Civic to duplicate the Lamborghini Centenario.

The modifiers spent one year completing the modification job. The exact price of the modification has yet to be revealed yet. If you are interested in the vehicle, please ask for more information from Mr Vidur on +91-6377793939 or Mr Pratik Nagpal directly on +91-8769500997, who were the co-modifiers of the this interestingly modified Honda Civic.
