The current model derives power from either a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine or a 2.0-litre diesel engine. While the petrol engine is good for 163 Bhp and 250 Nm, the diesel engine belts out a top power of 173 PS and peak torque of 350 Nm. A 6-0speed manual gearbox is offered as standard across the range. On the other hand, the automatic gearbox options vary, depending on the fuel types. While the diesel engine is available with a 9-speed automatic gearbox, the petrol version gets a 7-speed DCT option.

At the moment, Jeep is manufacturing the Jeep Compass and the Jeep Compass TrailHawk at its facility in Ranjagaon, Maharashtra while the other models are imported to our market through the CBU route.
