The Maruti Baleno returned to the Indian market in hatchback form in 2016, and has been a consistent best-seller from the launch day itself. Check out this Baleno which gets aftermarket air suspension.

Maruti Suzuki made its first foray into the premium hatchback with the Baleno in 2016. Currently, it is one of the best selling vehicles in its segment. Though it has newer rivals like the Hyundai i20 third-gen and the Tata Altroz, the Baleno is a great buy if you’re looking for a spacious interior, feature-packed trims, great reliability and worry-free after-sales experience. The Baleno also is becoming increasingly popular modifying, with aftermarket parts widely and easily accessible. Today we came across this Baleno with a suspension mod.

The video has been uploaded by Motogeek By Jackson on YouTube in which we can see probably the only Maruti Baleno in India with air suspension. The modification has been done by N1 Concept in Kochi, and they had recently done the same modification to a Hyundai Elite i20 as well. The tank and compressor have been neatly fitted into the boot, while the controls have been fitted to the bottom of the centre console. There’s a digital display for accurate readings and a couple of switches, with one of them able to drop the ride height to the lowest at a single press. The system also comes with a 1-year warranty for peace of mind.

This particular Maruti Baleno is one of the most popular online in India, and we had covered it before in IndianAuto as well. Aside from the air suspension, it gets a body kit with new bumpers front and rear. The front-end also gets a new splitter while there’s new led DRLs in the smoked headlamps. It also gets new projector fog lamps and led lights on the lower front grille. This Baleno gets a dual-tone red and black paint scheme with custom graphics on the side and goes through a de-chroming process as well. The stock wheels have been binned for new aftermarket 6-spoke alloys with low-profile tyres. Overall, this Baleno mod will catch your attention, and certainly looks vastly different from the stock model.
