Here's the acceleration test of the 2020 Brezza facelift. This test has been conducted to see how fast the petrol-equipped Brezza can accelerate.

A few months back, India’s biggest carmaker Maruti Suzuki launched the Brezza facelift in the Indian market. The automaker has made minor cosmetic changes outside and inside along with the addition of a new 1.5-litre petrol engine. Earlier, the compact SUV was only offered with a diesel powertrain. This petrol engine also does duties in the Maruti Ciaz, Ertiga and XL6. Here’s the acceleration test of the car, which we’ve conducted in Goa during its media drive to show our viewers that how fast the updated Brezza can sprint from 0-60 and 0-100. This acceleration test was done with the manual variant of the car. Moreover, this acceleration test has been conducted on a closed road by taking all the necessary safety precautions.

In this test, we had multiple acceleration runs to get the best timing. Talking about the figures, the 2020 Maruti Brezza can sprint from 0 to 60 kmph in 4.68 seconds and it can run from 0 to 100 kmph in 11.34 seconds. The timings we get after the acceleration test are quite good, considering the price of the car. Furthermore, the new Brezza is also among the fastest-accelerating compact SUVs in its segment. With the addition of a new petrol power plant, the 2020 Maruti Brezza now becomes more exciting to drive. The 1.5-litre petrol engine churns out 105 PS of power and 138 Nm of peak torque. It comes coupled to a 5-speed MT or a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The pre-facelift model was propelled by a D13A 1.3-litre diesel engine that puts out power and torque outputs of 90 PS and 200 Nm.
