Modified Suzuki Swift Sport From Mexico Looks Race-Ready

In the Indian market, Maruti Swift is one of the top choices for the entry-level segment. The hatchback has won the hearts of many Indian buyers thanks to its great attributes like high fuel efficiency, attractive design, and healthy performance. Not only in India, but this model also receives considerable success in the international market. Suzuki is offering a special sportier version of the Swift called the Swift Sport in some select markets, including Mexico. Here, IndianAuto will introduce a perfectly-done car mod on the Mexico-spec Suzuki Swift.

Since the Suzuki Swift Sport has already featured a sporty look, it requires less work to transform itself into a racy-looking car. The front end of the Swift Sport receives some small updates, however, these elements turn out to be highly effective. The horizontal grille is replaced by a mesh pattern grille which makes the front grille significantly more dominant. The headlights now come with projector light with integrated LED DRLs and LED indicators. The new light set-up instantly boosted the presence and the aggressiveness of the Swift Sport. On the lower part, the bumper is fitted with a new splitter which highlights the sportiness of the car. The rest of the front avatar remains unchanged.

To the side profiles, it continues to implement the underbody splitter. In addition, the Sport also receives body decals that resemble a real race car. The stock wheels are also replaced by new blacked-out alloy wheels wrapped with Falken Azenis rubber. The window gets tinting treatment which reflects the black treatment across the body. The sloping roofline of the original design makes the car perfectly match with the race car theme. As for the rear end, the Swift Sport receives a black roof-mounted spoiler. Apart from that, the rear end is basically identical to the stock model. Thanks to the small details like decals, window tints and vertical racing stripe, the elements make the car look put together.

Reportedly, the car bears no updates under the hood. It continues to be powered by 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder Boosterjet engine that makes a maximum power of 140 PS and a peak torque of 230 Nm. In our market, the Maruti Swift is currently on sale with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine. This unit is powerful enough for 83 PS and 113 Nm.
