Here are a few images of the new Mahindra Thar which gets aftermarket 18-inch alloy wheels that make the new SUV look really very smart

Mahindra & Mahindra has recently launched the new-gen Thar in the Indian market. The SUV is getting sold in good numbers. On 7th and 8th November, the automaker delivered 500 units of the all-new Mahindra off-roader. The carmaker has received more than 20,000 bookings for the SUV till date. Enthusiasts around the country have started modifying the new-gen Thar to make it look more eye-catching. Here’s one such modified 2020 Mahindra Thar which gets aftermarket alloy wheels.

The 18-inch stock alloy wheels offered with the new-gen Thar do not look that appealing. The all-new Mahindra off-roader you see here gets aftermarket 18-inch multispoke alloy wheels. The alloy wheels are finished in silver colour shade and have enhanced the overall stance of the SUV. These alloy units are of RPM brand and this modification job has been done by Velocity Tyres, Ludhiana. Other than this no aftermarket job has been done on the SUV.

This Mahindra Thar also gets some premium chrome touches around the fog lamps, headlamps, side mirrors, door handles and door cladding. The addition of such chrome accents is officially done by Mahindra. Moreover, it also sides steps for easy ingress and egress. Other than this, no customizations have been done on the SUV.

The SUV derives power from a 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine, which develops 150bhp of power and 300 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes coupled to a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. It also gets propelled by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, which is capable of shredding out power and torque outputs of 130bhp and 300 Nm. Transmission duties are done by a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. It comes loaded with features like a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, steering mounted controls, semi-digital instrument console, premium leather seats and much more. It is retailed at a starting price of Rs 9.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec variant.
