Skoda has recently introduced the 2021 Superb facelift in our market. The new model only powered by a 2.0-litre TSI gasoline engine.
Last year, Skoda released the updated version of the Superb, which is now being sold in our country as the MY2021 Superb. The premium sedan is being offered in two different trim levels namely- Sportline and Lauren & Klement. Here’s the walkaround video of the new Skoda Superb Spotline variant, showing what all is different in the Sportline variant compared to the L&K trim. This video has been uploaded by a YouTube channel named AutoTrend TV. The video starts by showcasing changes made on the outside. As the name suggests, the Spotline trim is the much more sporty looking version of the premium sedan. All the chrome accents offered with the L&K trim has been replaced by with blacked-out inserts. Upfront, it gets the company’s signature butterfly grille finished in gloss black.
The lower part of the bumper also gets a black treatment. Illumination duties are performed by LED headlamps, DRLs, fog lamps and side blinkers. The side profile of the sedan features sharp lines, which enhances the sport quotient of the car. Moreover, there’s also a Sportline badging on the side fender. The premium sedan now gets blacked-out wing mirrors along with 17-inch grey coloured alloy wheels. The windows also feature black inserts around them. The rear profile of the car employs sleeker smoked LED taillamps, black Skoda badging, sporty-looking boot lip spoiler and a black strip connecting both the taillights. Furthermore, the cabin of the car is also blacked-out to give the premium sedan a sportier appeal.
As compared to the L&K trim, the Sportline variant gets a fully-digital instrument cluster, flat-bottom steering wheel, electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function for driver and passenger. The sedan misses out features like drive modes and ventilates seats. Apart for missing out some convenience features, the Sportline trim comes loaded with features like a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, handsfree parking and much more. The new Skoda Superb is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol unit that produces 190 PS of power and 320 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are done by a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The 2021F Skoda Superb Sportline trim is priced at Rs 29.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
