Here's a base-spec Tata Nexon, which has been customized to boast of an increased premium appeal on the inside than a car from a segment higher. Check here to know more of the modification.

Tata Nexon is one of the best-selling products from the indigenous carmaker’s lineup. It is highly loved by the Indian audience for its 5-star Global-NCAP crash test rating and affordability quotient. The prices for the Tata Nexon start at Rs. 6.95 lakh, therefore it can be considered as rather affordable. However, the base model of the Nexon comes stripped down in terms of the features, and it also misses out on a lot of other exterior styling elements. That said, it isn’t a deal-breaker since most of those features can be had installed on the Nexon as an aftermarket accessory. Sadly, the interior of the Nexon stays the same in terms of its overall appeal in all the trims options.

However, here’s a video that we came across on the YouTube channel of Car Stylein, where they have accentuated the car’s interior with plenty of customizations. To start with, the interior of the car has been upholstered in leather with a lot of colours and textures. The seats are covered in a beige shade of leather with contrasting white thread work and black piping around them. The door panels have been trimmed with the leather as well. A similar treatment can also be seen on the pillars. Talking of the dashboard, it gets a silver-finished insert in the centre in its stock form, which has now been hydro-wrapped to feature faux-wood trim.

The nicest bit on this Nexon is the steering wheel. The steering wheels of Tata cars are not easy to work around. But, the Car Stylein team has managed to impart a premium and modern appeal to the steering wheel. It is finished in dual-colourway comprising of black and beige shades. To accentuate its premium quotient, a complicated stitching pattern with white thread is also used. The cost of this complete interior modification is not known to us, but we expect that it would’ve set the owner back by anywhere around Rs. 30,000. That, however, isn’t a lot of money for the increased appeal that this Nexon’s cabin now boasts of.
