Facing issues with the sunroof of you Tata Nexon? Here's an easy fix for free. Read here to find it out.

Tata Nexon has received a mid-life update, earlier this year. With the update, the sub-4m compact-SUV got itself a slew of changes for the exterior and interior, along with BS-6 compliant engines. Also, for the first time, the indigenous carmaker offered the Nexon with the option of a factory-fitted sunroof. Initially, the sunroof was offered on the top-spec trims only, but to ease the accessibility of this feature, the carmaker introduced a new XM(S) trim of the Nexon. But, the owners have recently started to report of an issue while using the sunroof, as it fails to close when used for ventilation purposes via the tilt function. However, here’s a YouTube video from Rahul Chaudhary that showcases an easy fix for this issue.

In the video, the host explains that pressing the button used for closing the sunroof for 10 seconds will resolve the issue. The host depicts the same by pressing the button for a while. Resultantly, the sunroof tilt-opens automatically, and the host was able to close it via the close sunroof button. He then opens and closes it a few times to ensure if it is working perfectly fine. The host owns the XM(S) trim of the Nexon, which was recently launched at a price tag of Rs. 8.36 lakh with the petrol power plant and at Rs. 9.70 lakh with the oil burner. The automatic counterparts of these variants, however, come at an added premium of Rs. 60,000.
