Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift is Latest Addition in Amitabh Bachchan’s Garage

The Japanese automaker Toyota has recently launched the new facelifted model of the Innova Crysta in the Indian market. The 2020 model of the MPV employs a few cosmetic and feature updates on outside and inside. The Toyota MPV is popular among common people as well as big celebrities. Recently, a new set of pictures have surfaced online, where the popular Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan can be seen taking delivery of his new Toyota Innova Crysta facelift at his bungalow in Mumbai. The keys of the premium MPV has been handed over to him by dealership officials. 

The exact trim of the Toyota Innova Crysta bought by Mr Bachchan is not known, but it seems to be the top-spec variant of the car. The Toyota Innova Crysta is retailed at a starting price of Rs 16.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 24.33 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec variant. At the same spot, Amitabh Bachchan took the delivery of Mercedes-Benz V-Class a few months back. Popular Bollywood celebrities like Malaika Arora, Rajnikant and Aamir Khan also owns the Toyota MPV. Talking about the new Toyota Innova Crysta facelift, it derives power from a 2.4-litre diesel engine and a 2.7-litre petrol mill. The former puts out 148 Bhp of power and 343 Nm of peak torque, while the latter develops power and torque outputs of 164 Bhp and 245Nm. Both the engines come coupled to either a 5-speed MT or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The new 2020 model of the MPV gets a revised trapezoidal radiator grille and redesigned bumper. On the sides, it gets a new set of alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin of the 2020 Toyota Innova Crysta features a new dual-tone Camel-Tan colour shade for the cabin, which is only restricted to ZX variant along with all-new Smart Playcast infotainment unit with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. The automaker will also launching the facelifted avatar of the Toyota Fortuner in the country soon.
