Mahindra Marazzo’s top features: Captain seats, roof-mounted AC vents and more

Marazzo is among the most awaited cars in India in 2018. Mahindra’s new MPV will be developed on an all-new platform promising to bring in a brand new experience, way different than what we have seen in any other Mahindra cars. After many months of waiting and anticipating, the Marazzo has finally unveiled. And we can now take a look at this car’s shark-inspired design and explore the promising features package it brings.

1. Mahindra Marazzo Exterior Features

1.1. Shark-inspired details

Mahindra has said it loud and clear that their new MPV will be a perfect representation of one of the most dangerous sea creature – sharks. The idea has inspired many parts of the car, for example, the shark-teeth-detailed grille, or the fin-inspired fog light housing and taillight. These exterior design elements endorse imagination and a curiosity from customers.

1.2. Projector headlamps and DLR integrated fog lamp

The lighting units of the Marazzo is not only cosmetically interesting but it also brings out fascinating techs, like the application of LED DRLs on the fog lamp units. However, the DRLs touch doesn’t come as standard. Just like what Mahindra brings to the XUV line, they will also give the Marazzo projector headlamps.

Besides, these features, the exterior of the Marazzo also comes with ORVMs and 17-inch alloy wheels.

2. Mahindra Marazzo Interior features

2.2. Captain seats

This special treat will be available on the 7-seater variants. Instead of a long bench on the second row, the 7-seater version will come with two separated seats with their own armrest and of course, more space. On the 8-seater Marazzo, the captain seats are replaced by 60:40 foldable seat.

2.3. Roof-mounted AC vents

Inside the cabin of this MVP, you will enjoy the smart cooling operation of the roof-mounted AC vent. With roof-mounted AC, it will be easier to fill and ventilate the whole space inside the car. And the passengers on the second and third row will feel the same pleasure as it is in the first row.

2.4. Illuminated instrument cluster

The interior of the Marazzo is adorned with some captivating details, noticeably, the illuminated instrument cluster. The two-pod cluster is contoured by illuminated lighting. It is also easy to read with an uncluttered layout. This outstanding touch gives the interior a highlight and a futuristic vibe.

2.4. 7-inch Touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto support

The Marazzo comes with a 7-inch touchscreen unit which supports Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity. However, it misses Apple CarPlay. This responsive unit could also double as a display screen for the rear camera. To make it easier for the driver to park their car, the reverse camera will come with an adaptive guideline.

Beside these smart and convenient features, the interior of the Marazzo has more to offer, for example, it has USB charger, USB and Aux input, as well as a 12v plug point.

2.5. Leather seats 

On the top-of-the-line or even the mid-range variant, the Marazzo offers premium leather seats. It will obviously enhance the premiumness of the interior, making it more compatible with other competitors.

2.6. Safety features

In terms of safety features, Mahindra comes with dual airbags, brake assist, ABS with EBD central locking and ISOFIX child seat mounts. Moreover, Marazzo also applies full disc brake on all of its wheels. Over-speeding warning is also available as safety features on the Marazzo.

2.7. 190-litre storage space 

Inside the car, you can find a bunch of many storage space and storage solution like cup holders more bottle holder and even a cooling glovebox for chilled drinks. On the top of that, the Marazzo also has a ginormous boot space. And if the third row is folded, there will be 680-litre space for luggage. Both the second and third row could make space for an impressive space of 1055 litres. But if it comes with a flat floor, it will be much better.

2.8. Control-mounted steering wheel

The adjustable steering wheel of the Marazzo offers easy operation for the audio system and cruise control feature.
