The next-gen Honda City has been spotted during its test mule in India, revealing its a full-LED headlamps setup.
The next-gen City executive sedan can be had in a choice of four variant in the Thai market – S, V, SV and the sporty RS variant which was not available in any of the older generations.
When it comes to the exterior design, the 2020 Honda City delivers a good mix of elegance and sharpness. It might not look striking enough for many but it’s sure to bold enough to catch the eyes of every bystander on the roads. The next-gen Honda City features a heavily revised front fascia which is rather the biggest change in its styling as compared to the previous-gen model. Apart from that, the other parts in its exterior turn out to be quite similar to the older models. The 2020 Honda City also comes with a set of 16-inch alloy wheels and LED taillights on the table.
The 2020 City has been recently unveiled in Thailand, the Indian launch is set for some time by mid-2020.
On the inside, the Honda City is likely to come with a fully-redesigned dashboard layout, new steering wheel, new instrument cluster along with a refreshed centre console. It switches from the conventional horizontal HVAC vents to use the vertical units as seen in some SUVs and pickup truck models.
The instrument cluster features the conventionally-placed analogue gauges along with a multi-information display that could be something dated in the new-gen car as the world has moved on to the fully-digital units already. Some other key interior features include an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker sound system, leather upholstery among others.
