Amazon is one of the most popular online shopping platforms in India. Now, the company has entered into a new domain in India, which is providing insurance for two-wheelers and four-wheeler. To further initiate this plan, the company has partnered with Acko General Insurance. The buying process is quite easy, and one can understand it in three simple steps. The company has said that a customer can purchase an insurance plan for car and bike in less than two minutes.

Moreover, Amazon Prime customers car get benefits like additional discounts and much more. Buyers of Amazon car and bike insurance will enjoy benefits like hassle-free claims with zero paperwork, one-hour pick-up, three-day assured claim servicing, and a year's repair warranty in selected cities. The Amazon customers will also get an option for instant cash settlements for low-value claims. Buyers can find the insurance section at Amazon Pay page or one can simply search car and bike insurance in the search bar.

This service is only available at Amazon mobile application for Android and IOS or smartphone website. The existing Prime customers can get a discount of Rs 249 on insurance plans with a premium amount less than Rs 5,000. Furthermore, on the premium amount between Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000, Amazon Prime customers can get a discount of Rs 499. Likewise, insurance plans costing between Rs 10,001 to Rs 15,000 or more than 15,000, Prime customers can get a discount of Rs 749 and 999. One can make payments via Amazon Pay Balance, debit or credit card and UPI.
