BS6 Datsun GO and GO Plus Details Revealed Ahead of Launch

The BSVI versions of the Datsun GO and Go Plus have been revealed ahead of their launch, which is expected to happen soon. All the details of these two vehicles are now available.

BSVI Datsun Go and Go Plus will go on sale soon 

Datsun GO and Datsun GO Plus come with the same BSVI HR12 DE 1.2-litre 3 cylinder petrol engine. This engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT unit, depending on the variant you choose. Notably, despite the upgrade, the power output of this engine remains the same. On the manual version, the petrol engine delivers a top power of 68 PS and 104 Nm. If mated to the CVT gearbox, the power outputs are marked at 77 PS and 104 Nm for maximum power and torque respectively.

Even though the power output stays the same, its fuel mileage is slightly decreased. On the Datsun GO, the BSIV version of the 1.2-litre engine returned a fuel efficiency of 19.83 kmpl and 20.7 kmpl for manual and CVT version, respectively, while in the current BSVI form, it offers claimed fuel mileage of 19.02 kmpl and 19.59 kmpl. Datsun GO Plus’s fuel economy ratings went from 19.72 kmpl and 19.41 kmpl to 19.02 kmpl and 18.57 kmpl for manual and CVT variants, respectively. About the features, both the Datsun Go and GO Plus will come with the standard feature package comprising of dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, speed sensing door lock and seat belt reminder as required by the new safety norms.

Both the Datsun GO and GO Plus will go on sale in 7 variants, namely, D, A, A(O), T, T(O), T CVT and T(O) CVT. There will be six colour options for the customers to choose from. More information including the price details will be revealed later. It is expected that there will be no change or small changes in terms of pricing.
