Renault is currently offering discounts of up to Rs. 70,000 on the BS-6-compliant Duster. Attractive finance scheme with 3 month EMI holidays is also on offer.

Renault has recently updated the Duster to comply with new cleaner emission standards. With the update, Renault has discontinued the diesel variants of the car and it now comes with a petrol engine only. Duster is in the market for quite long a time. It is one capable car, but the age has always been affecting its sales. However, if you had plans to buy one, it can be a great time to do so. Renault is currently offering discounts of up to Rs. 70,000 on the BS-6 compliant Duster.

BS-6 Renault Duster Available With Discounts Of Upto Rs. 70,000

Renault sells the first-generation Duster in the Indian market, while the second-generation model is sold in international markets.

The discounts comprise of a cash benefit of Rs. 15,000, exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000, corporate benefit of Rs. 10,000, and a loyalty bonus of Rs. 20,000. The loyalty bonus will be provided to those who will be exchanging a Renault product for the new Duster or if they already own a Renault car. Apart from these benefits, Renault is also offering attractive finance schemes. For a maximum loan amount of Rs. 7.5 lakh and loan tenure of 36 months, Renault will charge an annual interest rate of 8.99 per cent only. An EMI holiday for first three months will also be provided.

If in any case, the carmaker is not able to finance the car in the state of customer's residence then an additional exchange bonus of Rs. 5,000 will be handed over to the customer. For those who are not entitled to a corporate discount, a rural discount is also on offer. It will be applicable for farmers, sarpanch, and authorized members of the gram panchayat. These schemes will be applicable for cars that are booked on or before May 31, 2020.

Talking of the Duster’s power plant, it is a 1.5L N/A petrol motor. It is capable of belting out a peak power output of 106 PS and a max. torque of 142 Nm. It comes mated to a 5-speed MT only. The carmaker would soon be introducing a new 1.3L turbocharged petrol engine on the Duster. The new engine will be offered with the option of a 6-speed MT and a CVT automatic. It will boast of segment-leading power and torque figures of 156 PS and 250 Nm, respectively.
