The Kia Carnival only has a single engine and transmission option. It is powered by a 2.2-litre inline-4 VGT-turbo-diesel motor that generates 200 PS and 440 Nm of maximum power and torque figures, respectively. It comes paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Although the Carnival is extremely heavy, nearly 2,200 kg, the engine-transmission combo never let the vehicle feel lethargic.
