Kia Drops Teaser For Kia Carnival MPV Ahead Of Official Launch

Kia is among the latest carmakers to enter the Indian market. Despite its early age in the market, with one single product launched, the success it has gained is beyond its short existence. Fueled by the initial success, the South Korean car manufacturer immediately gets down on its next step, the debut of the Kia Carnival. The new MPV is expected to launch in the following year. Ahead of the 2020 launch, Kia has released the first TVC for this upcoming MPV, giving a quick glance at this vehicle.

Previously, the car manufacturer has a huge success with the marketing campaign for the Kia Seltos. The TVC of the Kia Seltos starring Tiger Shroff has racked up over 94 million views on Youtube in just three months.

Kia Carnival | Sheer Extravagance | The Connoisseur

The 50-second commercial TVC gives us some hints on the interior and an overview of the side profile. The video highlights the extravagance and luxury of the interior. Exterior-wise, the Kia Carnival features a set of sleeking projector headlights with LED DRLs, ice-cube fog lamps on the front end. It is revealed that the Carnival will get alloy wheels, chrome door handles on the side, and integrated spoiler for the end.

This TVC also brings light to the interior of the Kia Carnival. As per the advertising, the upcoming MPV will get an extravagant and plush interior, with ultimate comfort features like two touchscreen screen displays for the rear captain seats. Besides the main infotainment touchscreen at the centre of the dashboard, there is also a digital MID display put among the analogue speedometer and the tachometer. It can be seen from the TVC that the Carnival gets a centre armrest with integrated cup holder. Other highlight features of the Carnival’s cabin include two-zone climate control, control-mounted steering wheels with leather cover, and push-button start. The fully-loaded interior will be selling-point of this premium MPV.

Under the hood, it is revealed that the Kia Carnival will pick power from the 2.2-litre diesel engine which can unleash a maximum power of 202 PS and a top torque of 441 Nm. The power will be sent to its wheel via a six-speed automatic transmission system.

The price of this premium MPV is expected to range from Rs. 25 lakh upwards. Currently, in the Indian MPV segment, the most premium offerings are the Toyota Innova Crysta and Maruti Ertiga.
