Like Maruti Suzuki, various auto manufacturers in India have been tolerated a double-digit sales dump in the last several months. Owing to the global recession, the downturn in the world economy and unpleasant tax rates, the domestic automobile industry has been seeing the worst sales performance in over 18 years. Since it shows no signal of recovery in the coming months, the Government has recently decided to reduce the Corporate Tax by 10% while Maruti Suzuki released the price cut of Rs 5,000 across all its models.
