Currently, the Indo-car manufacturer makes use of the PM 10 filters across its range. However, with the introduction of the 2.5 cabin air filter, the Maruti’s vehicles can keep its customers rest assured about the cabin air quality.
The new filter is designed with the use of high-quality electrostatic non-woven fabric, which helps to prevent smokes, dust, and dirt from entering the cabin. However, a small downside of the PM 2.5 air filter is that it only lasts for a short period of time. It requires for replacement every 10,000 kms or on yearly basis. Maruti is offering the PM 2.5 air filter as standard on Maruti Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, Ciaz, Baleno, S Cross, Ignis and Vitara Brezza. Moreover, Maruti also provides it as an accessory for currently used vehicles at the price of Rs 599. Existing Maruti owners can replace the PM 10 air filter on their vehicles with the new PM 2.5 air filter.
