Ahead of its impending launch, the MG Gloster was recently spotted undergoing road tests. As per the spy pictures, the new premium SUV will be available with a four-drive system, thereby promising to offer a decent off-road capability. However, the 4WD system will be offered as an option. Along with the 4WD option, the flagship SUV will get a multiple-drive mode setting which includes Sand, Rock and Snow modes.

While the petrol engine will be mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or an automatic gearbox, the diesel engine will be offered with a ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic transmission. These engines are good for 224bh/350Nm and 218bhp/480Nm, respectively. MG Gloster is expected to cost around Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom).
