New Bentley Bentayga facelift has been launched in India at a stratospheric price tag of Rs 4.10 crore. It derives power from a 4.0-litre V8 petrol mill.
In the Indian market, Bentley has recently launched the new Bentayga under the company’s new Beyond100 business strategy. It is based on the first-gen model, which was responsible for the sale of more than 20,000 units worldwide. The new model of Bentley Bentayga is priced at Rs 4.10 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The exterior of the Bentley SUV gets the company’s design DNA, which makes it look more muscular and premium, while the interiors employ all-new seat trims and increased legroom. The cabin of the car gets a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with high-resolution graphics and increased more connectivity options, all thanks to the latest technologies.
It also features dark-tinted diamond brush aluminium finish inserts and wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, online search compatibility and new navigation with satellite maps. The expanded suite of My Bentley connected services in the SUV uses an embedded sim card. Talking about its performance, the new 2021 Bentley Bentayga is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol unit, which puts out power and torque outputs of 542bhp and 770 Nm. Transmission duties are done by an 8-speed automatic gearbox, which sends power to all four wheels. The new model of Bentley Bentayga is the mid-life facelift of the SUV. One of the most unique changes at the back is the addition of a full-width oval-shaped LED taillight, which looks identical to the one offered with the third-gen Continental GT.
The design language of the new Bentley Bentagya is inspired by the Continental GT and the latest Flying Spur. The front fascia of the car employs a revised grille and is flanked by new LED matrix headlights. It also gets a more muscular bumper and heated windscreen wipers with 22 washer jets in each arm. The SUV also features newly designed wheels, a new touchscreen remote control tablet for rear-seat passengers, USB-C data ports, a wireless phone charger, relocated license plate, leg room increased up to 100 mm, a new centre console, Continental GT like a steering wheel and much more.
