The second-generation Hyundai Creta is hours away from launch. According to new reports, the SUV is going to be aggressively priced.

Hyundai Motor India is planning to regain the title of best-selling SUV (above 4-metre) for the new Creta, a crown it previously lost to its cousin, the Kia Seltos. To help the next-gen SUV’s popularity, Hyundai is offering a plethora of features, a few of which will be first for the segment. Other than that, it seems that the carmaker will also keep the pricing of the 2020 Creta extremely aggressive, thus leaving no stone unturned.

At the moment, things do seem to be working in favour of the South Korean auto giant. The company had managed to rack-up 12,000 pre-orders in just 12 days since the commencement of bookings, and the momentum is expected to remain steady, or maybe even increase, after the vehicle is launched.

Hyundai will offer a lot of premium features in the new Creta

There are many different reasons for the immense demand for the new Creta. Firstly, the car was already a favourite in the Indian market. It was only after the vehicle had begun showing its age, that the newer, fresher looking SUVs started to dominate the market. Thankfully, the new SUV looks dapper in its new body, and will surely attract a lot of buyers. Secondly, the equipment-list of the 2020 Creta is full to the brim with brilliant features. Thirdly, the new engine options, borrowed from the Seltos, are extremely potent while still being fuel-efficient. Prices of the new model shall be updated after the car’s launch.
