New Tata Safari was launched last week after a month of teasers from the automaker. Today we take a look at the different official accessory packs you can add when you're purchasing your new Safari

Tata Motors launched the latest generation of the Safari a few days ago, and the 7-seater SUV is going to be the new flagship for the automaker’s lineup. The new Safari comes with an all-new design and gets the latest features and creature comforts, and the automaker is also offering a host of official accessories with the new SUV. There are seven accessory packages available for the new Safari - Accomplished, Accomplished Pro, Adventure, Adventure Pro, Design, Safety, and Comfort. This allows customers to add some personalisation to their new SUVs directly from the dealerships themselves. Today we take a look at each of the new accessory packs for the Safari and what they offer.

The Accomplished package includes faux exhaust chrome garnish, tailgate chrome garnish, rear bumper chrome appliqué, mud flaps, bonnet emblem, air purifier, floor mats, puddle lamps that highlight the Tata logo, neck rest with memory foam, scuff plates, and sun shades. The Accomplished Pro pack comes with everything the Accomplished pack comes with, and adds features like additional features, like side steps, underbody lights, front parking sensors, rear-seat entertainment, and wireless smartphone charger.

The Adventure accessory package gets features like side steps, front parking sensors, bonnet scoop, 3D mats, air purifier, scuff plates, rear seat organiser, and a dashcam. The Adventure Pro pack gets all the features of the Adventure package and adds features like wheel step, cycle carrier, roof rack, jerry cans, and luggage carriers.

The Design pack offers faux exhaust chrome garnish, tailgate chrome garnish, rear bumper chrome appliqué, mud flaps, and bonnet emblem. The Safety accessory package gets an air purifier, underbody light, front parking sensors, front camera, and tyre pressure monitoring system. Meanwhile, the Comfort pack includes the following features – air purifier, floor mats, puddle lamps (with Tata logo), memory foam neck rest, scuff plates, and sun shades. All the accessories mentioned above can be purchased separately as well.

The 2021 Tata Safari is by an FCA-sourced 2-litre turbo-diesel unit, which also does duty on the Harrier. The powertrain makes peak power and torque figures of 170 PS and 350 Nm and can be paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The new Tata Safari is available in a total of 11 variants, spread across 6 trim levels - XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ and XZ+. Prices for the new Safari start from Rs 14.69 lakh for the base model and goes up to Rs 21.45 lakh for the flagship Adventure Persona Edition. Do not all prices are ex-showroom.
