Next-gen Hyundai Grand i10 Will Get An Automated Manual Transmission

It comes as no surprise that the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 has been spotted undergoing road testing for multiple times because there are merely several months remained from its launch. As per the latest reports from many media agencies, the all-new Hyundai Grand i10 will be based on the revised BA architecture and also receive a new transmission package.

It has been revealed that the South Korean carmaker will commence major physical and mechanical revisions in the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10. The upcoming Hyundai hatchback will be developed on a modified version of the BA platform that will lead to a drastic change in the car’s styling aesthetics. Generally speaking, the new Grand i10 will replicate the familiar silhouette from the outgoing model but it will carry a completely new face thanks to the refreshed sleeker cascading grille, bold bumper and headlamps. The side profile of the car will also even adopt a new set of sportier dual-tone alloy wheels in the top-spec variants.

On the inside, the imminent Hyundai Grand i10 is likely to offer an abundance of space and a feature-rich innovative cabin as well. Its modern interior feature highlights encompass a floating-type infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, multi-function steering wheel, auto temperature control, cooled glovebox, rear AC vents and many more.

While the same BSVI-compliant gasoline engine will be retained, the diesel engine option is slated to be pulled off from the production line. The great slump on the car's demands and the costlier expenses can be the main attributions for that. Once launched, the all-new Hyundai Grand i10 will be the bitter adversary of Maruti Suzuki Swift and the facelifted Ford Figo in the Indian space.
