2020 Hyundai i20 is about to enter the car market of INdia. However, if you are wondering what the new Hyundai i20 looks like in sedan form, here is the answer you are looking for.

The next-gen Hyundai i20 for the European market was revealed by Hyundai. For the Indian market, the third-gen Hyundai i20 was scheduled to launch by mid-2020. However, Hyundai India has to delay the launch date until the festive season. We are all familiar with the Hyundai i20 as a premium hatchback. However, have you ever wondered what this car would look like under the sedan form? Recently, KDesign has introduced a digitally-imagined sedan version of the next-gen Hyundai i20. Apparently, Hyundai has no intention to introduce such a model, but this idea is worth a try, even only in our imagination.

The rendering version retains the front end design and changes are only added to the rear end design. On the front, it sports that same hexagon-shaped grille with sleek thin headlights as well as the triangle-shaped foglight assembly. However, for the rear end, the Hyundai i20 now sports a short rear overhang and a small cargo space, which are signature for sedan cars. Apart from these small modifications, the rest of the design remains identical to the official version. The Z-shaped LED tail lamps, as well as the LED connecting bar used on the regular hatchback form, are carried forward to this rendered sedan version.

The first engine is capable of churning out a top torque of 83 PS and maximum torque of 114 Nm. The only turbocharged engine is likely to crank out 120 PS and 172 Nm. The largest engine on the lot is the 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes a 100 PS and 240 Nm. In all likelihood, the new hatchback will be available with both manual and automatic gearbox. It is not known whether Hyundai will offer the 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox or the newly-launched 6-speed iMT gearbox for the new Hyundai i20.
