Many of you may know that Mahindra & Mahindra is currently working on the new-gen Scorpio. One can see in the video that the all-new Mahindra Scorpio looks quite big and has a strong road presence. The all-new model of the SUV seems much bigger than its predecessor. Moreover, it also looks taller with the rear bumper of the SUV low to the ground. There is a door handle on the tailgate, so we can say that the 2021 model of the SUV will be offered with a side-hinged tailgate. The taillights now look production-spec but are heavily camouflaged. The rear profile of the SUV also gets wiper, washer and a high-mounted spoiler. The reflectors are positioned on the lower part of the bumper along with reverse parking sensors. On the side, it gets new alloy wheels, and regular door handles. Mahindra is not offering the new-gen Scorpio with flush-sitting doors as it will increase the price of the SUV, while one can expect it to be offered with 2021 XUV500.

On the side, the new-gen Mahindra Scorpio will also feature side steps for easy ingress and egress. It will get roof rails, which we expect to be functional on the production-spec version. The front fascia of the new-gen Mahindra Scorpio will employ six vertical slat grille. There are also bigger air dams that get a honeycomb pattern. Mechanically, the new-gen model of the SUV will be powered by 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine. The former develops 150 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque, while the latter is capable of shredding out power and torque outputs of 150 PS and 320 Nm. The engine will come paired with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
