Earlier this year, Tata Motors brought the new Tata Gravitas (7-seater siblig of Tata Harrier) to the Auto Expo 2020. It was confirmed by the car manufacturer that the 7-seater SUV would be launched later this year. However, due to the current health crisis, Tata had to delay the launch of Tata Gravitas. It was expected that the new Tata SUV would arrive sometime in late 2020. However, according to the latest official statement from Tata, the new Gravitas will enter the market early next year.

Tata Gravitas is the extended version of the 5-seater Tata Harrier. The Harrier's sibling is underpinned by the OMEGA platform which evolved from the famous Land Rover’s D8 platform. According to some reports, the Gravitas will be longer and taller than the Harrier by 63 mm and 80 mm, respectively. Tata Gravitas has been spied on various occasions ahead of launch.
