Reportedly, Tata Motors is working on a long-range electric motor that returns 200-230 km range on one single charge. Besides, to make Tata H2X EV more practical for real-life usage, Tata Motors is expected to get fast charging technology. Apart from these, the Tata H2X EV will also score high in terms of connectivity. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support will be available on the touchscreen infotainment system borrowed from Tata Harrier.

Exterior wise, the electric version of the Tata H2X will be identical to the conventional version. Generally, both ICE and EV version will look much like the concept car. At the front, it is expected to carry dual lighting setting with LED DRLs located on the top, nearest to the bonnet while the main headlamps stay underneath and fog light is placed at the bottom. And the interior of both the H2X ICE and the pure electric version will take design clues from the Nexon SUV.

Around the same time of H2X EV launch in India, the market will also welcome Mahindra KUV100 EV. Besides, Tata Motors itself also will also have a wide range of EV models by then, namely, Tata Tigor EV, Tiago EV and Altroz EV. Just like the ICE counterparts, Tata’s EVs will carry affordable price tags. None of the new Tata EVs will be priced above 15 lakh.
