2020 Hyundai Creta Coupe Rendered, Looks Fast & Gorgeous

2020 Hyundai Creta is one of the best-selling compact-SUVs in the country. Almost everyone loves it. So is the case with cars that possess a fastback-like sloping roofline with an athletic stance. What if 2020 Creta gets that too. We believe it would help the new-gen Creta clock even bigger numbers on the sales chart. But how would it look like? Here’s a digital rendering that our in-house design specialist – Shoeb R. Kalania has made to give an idea of how the 2020 Hyundai Creta Coupe will appear. In the picture below, it can be seen; the 2020 Creta gets a coupe-like silhouette and looks attractive.

A lot has been changed on the 2020 Creta, to help it sport the coupe-life roofline. To start with, the Creta Coupe now gets a slimmer C-pillar that rakes sharply to meet the boot lid. The thick Silver Lightning Arc seen on the 2020 Creta has also sublimed itself with the slimmer C-pillar. Also, it now gets 2021 Tucson-inspired slats. A smaller quarter-glass has been fixed around the rear door to make the cabin feel airier.

The tailgate gets a raked windscreen and a small lip-spoiler. The roof rails have been removed to aid it with reduced height. Moreover, the rear overhang has been elongated a bit, to give the Creta Coupe a proportionate silhouette. However, rest everything else remains identical to the regular model. It continues to get similar vertically-split headlamps and tail lamps as the outgoing model.

Well, we doubt if Hyundai would ever consider launching such an iteration of the 2020 Creta in the market. Though, we wish that carmaker does launch the Creta Coupe. Once launched, the Creta Coupe will compete against the likes of VW T-Roc and more. Also, 2020 Hyundai Creta comes with a peppy power plant that will suit the overall sporty design of the Coupe trim. Yes! We are talking about the 1.4L turbo-petrol unit that puts out 140 PS and 242 Nm as its rated output and comes mated to a 7-speed DCT. Apart from this motor, the 2020 Creta can be had with either a 1.5L petrol motor or a 1.5L diesel engine. The gearbox options include a 6-speed MT, CVT, and 6-speed AT.
