From the factory, new-gen Thar comes with 18-inch alloy wheels. The Mahindra Thar you see here, however, gets 22-inch aftermarket alloy wheels that feature a multi-spoke design. These huge silver-coloured alloy units are gelling up well with the black colour shade of the car. These rims are shod with low profile tyres. The front brake callipers of the Thar are also painted in the red shade to enhance the sporty quotient of the car. The biggest drawback of getting such big alloy wheels is that they are prone to damage when encountering potholes or speed bumps at high speed. Other than these alloy wheels, no modifications have been done on the car. These aftermarket rims are of Plati brand and the customization job has been performed by Monga Tyres, who are based out of Ludhiana, Punjab.
